Location: REMOTE with daily travel to job sites / Located in Tri-State Area

We are seeking a Field Technician to support our East Coast projects – see full description at the link below. This position requires travel to local East Coast customer sites (mainly Tri-State) as needed.

A brief background check will be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients and perform pre construction site visits of buildings, campuses, and other areas where RF signals may need to be enhanced, provide design change suggestions
  • Support other site walks as needed (with Sr. Construction Manager or Field Project Manager)
  • Collect site details on med/large projects for use to adjust Budgetary Designs and BOM to accurate details
  • for construction and deployment
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot & resolve basic installation and hardware problems
  • Enforce Quality Control to ensure installation meets required standards
  • Maintain a current and accurate status of all construction activities and communicate the status to appropriate project stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Track project activities and tasks in Tracker platform (or similar)
  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
  • Coordinate testing activities with Engineering team and RK2 preferred subcontractors as needed
  • Coordinate A&E drawing requests with RK2 preferred subcontractors as needed
  • Help guide subcontractors on installation practices, proper terminations, cable dress, and testing

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have 2+ years general Construction / Low Voltage experience.
  • Experience with In-Building Wireless/DAS projects is a plus.
  • Must be able to comprehend project plans and schedules
  • Must have the ability to understand and adhere to project deadlines and budgets
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Some experience installing & managing DAS or similar installations (Coax, Category Cable, Fiber Optics)
  • Flexible individual with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to read blueprints and Visio & iBwave construction drawings
  • Previous Site Survey and iBwave experience is a plus
  • Experience with multiple DAS platforms and equipment sets (JMA, Commscope, Anritsu, Kalus, Corning)
  • Customer service is a must; perfect candidates will pride themselves on their professionalism and appearance, should be outgoing & personable & independent
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft Outlook, and other basic applications. Google Suite is a plus.
  • Understanding of cable pulling procedures and construction-related scenarios.
  • Must be able to work with internal and external teams in a manner conducive to the RK Squared core values.

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support our national projects. This position involves a mix of sales support and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Sales Support
o Assist the sales team with technical expertise during the sales process
o Create and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients
o Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Proposal and Quotation Generation
o Prepare detailed proposals and quotes based on client requirements and company offerings
o Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
o Ensure timely delivery of proposals and follow up with clients as needed
Technical and Administrative Support
o Support the CTO with various technical tasks and projects
o Generate pricing models and cost estimates for projects
o Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use
o Assist with project documentation and other administrative tasks as required
NOC/Occulor Support
o Provide technical guidance and training to Occulor staff
o Liaise with engineering to address complex issues escalated from the NOC
o Implement process improvements to enhance customer support and operational efficiency
o Generate and analyze performance reports, offering insights and recommendations for improvement
Additional Responsibilities
o Support the development  and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company targets
o Provide training and support to the sales team on technical aspects of DAS solutions
o Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote RK Squared’s offerings
o Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
Strong understanding of DAS and related technologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with multiple DAS platforms and equipment sets (JMA, Commscope, Corning, Anritsu)
Experience with CRM (Hubspot or similar)
Familiarity with major wireless carriers and OEM requirements and standards
Project management experience
Must be able to work with internal and external teams in a manner conducive to the RK Squared core values.
